Home Inspector Apprentice

AJF Inspections & Engineering is seeking individuals who are looking for a dynamic and rewarding career conducting home inspections; commercial inspections; termite inspections, radon testing, mold assessments/testing and more. INSPECTION EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED.

What is required is a willingness and passion to learn about the inspection busines; willingness to dramatically change your life; willingness to go above and beyond for the customer/client; and a willingness to work on a team. We will provide all training, tools, and resources to become an Arizona certified home inspector.

  • Initially you will enter our Home Inspector Apprenticeship Program where you will learn step by step how to perform home, commercial and termite inspections with the goal of becoming a full time AZ certified home inspector

Key Account Executive

To assist AJF Inspections & Engineering expand our client base and revenue, while maintaining our goal of service and education to clients through the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and care. The Key Account Executive responsibilities include prospecting new clients to introduce AJF Inspection services, attend meetings and events, outreach to existing clients, and be part of the internal social media team by posting multiple times per week on AJF company social media pages.

Key Objectives:

  1. Central role in helping to drive the growth of inspections and ancillary services for the company.
  2. Develop and expand new real estate agent relationships, top tier real estate offices, and brokers
  3. Interface with our Growth Manager to ensure individual and company goals are met.
  4. Utilize and maintain strategies that are proven effective in new agent and top agent acquisition and growth.
  5. Share ideas on new marketing ideas, systems, strategies, and materials for additional expansion opportunities.
  6. Reach, monitor, and ensure sales and revenue metrics are met for your territory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Outreach to potential client prospects to schedule meetings.
  • Communicate AJF’s value and services to clients and customers.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through cold-calling or through email campaigns.
  • Update and market to existing clients via telephone and email.
  • Perform regular follow-up calls or emails to facilitate communication with existing customers, while ensuring their satisfaction and new potential needs.

The AJF Inspector provides a professional and thorough review of a property’s systems and components adhering to our Professional Standards of Practice. The information is communicated, both written and verbal, in a non-alarming, unbiased manner, while upholding our mission of service, education, and protection to clients through the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and care.

Key Objectives:

  • Ensure outstanding service for our client and real estate agents for all company services.
  • Prepare an accurate and technically correct inspection report in accordance with AJF and Arizona
    Board of Technical Registration Standards of Practice (SOPs).
  • Build trust and future referrals with clients and agents using a calm, consistent, honest, and thorough
    communication approach.
  • Present inspection results to the client and agent through unbiased and neutral feedback.
  • Respond to client and agent concerns/questions in a patient, thorough and professional manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Pre-Inspection Preparation

  • Daily monitoring of your ISN schedule to give advance notice to Office Team of any issues.
  • Daily, careful review of your work order(s) to ensure that you have all tools and equipment available.

Inspections

  • Perform home and pool & spa inspections
  • Perform termite inspections
  • Perform commercial inspections
  • Perform mold testing/screening
  • Perform thermal imaging
  • Perform radon testing
  • Attend field and in office training

Post Inspection

  • Daily completion of Quality Control checklist.
  • Daily submission of RecallChek after each inspection.
  • Upload reports and email to the client and agent the day of the inspection.
  • Answer post-inspection client and agent questions/concerns.

Additional Duties

  • Attend all company training sessions, weekly zoom or conference calls, staff meetings etc.
  • Participate when asked to support AJF sponsored events and/or fundraisers.
